Not a problem. 10% is fine. Does not hurt anything. Been using it for years and do my own work. Even 2 stroke weedeaters have no problem with it. Its the oil in the gas that cruds them up if you let them set. I just rebuild the carb in a 12HP around 18 year old rider and pulled the needle seat (its pink rubber) It was still fine. It took a lot of hours for the float to wear the pin like you see it. Tank was just full of rust from a bad gas can. It also absorbs a small amount of water so you do not have to worry about moisture in the tank

The reason ppl think it makes it run bad is it's a solvent it breaks up gunk left behind from gasoline.
I hate the sh*t. Mainly because I just spent 2 hours today dropping and draining the tank in my wife's year old car because she filled it with the E85 junk and it wouldn't run worth a damn with it. Her excuse, "it was cheaper". F*ckin' women f*ckin' anit-siphon systems and f*ckin' ethanol lol

Ethanol's existence caused the issue. Hey man, that's my logic and i'm sticking to it.
On a side note, i also don't care for it much because my truck get's even worse mileage with the 10% stuff. Goes from about 15 mpg to about 13. And the "cleansing" properties of it caused the carb in my Kawi ATV to get all gummed up and that was another saturday wasted.

Don't take this the wrong way but ethaol doesn't gum up.
If it does get water in it it will turn milky.
I decide to test how much water it absorbs so I've had some sitting in a open jug for 4 years.
No water.
My street/strip car sat for 6 months with E85 sitting in the carb and tank fired right up and ran the tank out.

i have found that fuel pumps do not last as long
it sure cleans
it starts going bad in 2 weaks
i get less gas milage
i have less power
what is not to like about it
OK now i found that my 5.4 ford droped from 22.1 to 17.8 mpg hwy
i use Amsoil Outboard motor oil 1oz to 5 gal of gas i now get 19.7 mpg
that is figured by odomiter miles and gallons every tank so i know whare i am
my dyna got 41.1 hwy it droped to 38 mpg that 2 i put in the amsoil and get 40.2
mt sbc in my TT Ford 6X2 carbs the truck just runs better i put more lead in timming 1 jet size larger and it runs good
now my 91 1 Dually wrecker it was a dog on straight gas it weigs 8000#
no cat EGR disconected 100 ohme resistor in nock sensor 4* more lead in timming holly 690 cfm 2v throtle body this will get out and moves better now
also run oil in it
my fuel dealer i was talking to in FL said that they took out stable and no top end lube in fuel any more
that is why i run Amsoil DO NOT Forget to mut marine stable in fuel this does make fuel last over a year
