I hated the fact that Harley made the Rocker C so you could not put a seat on the rear fender
Crap now you tell me.
Had a neighbor years ago tell me he thought my FXSTC had too much chrome.
Funny thing was he thought I actually cared what he thought.
Of course this Mensa candidate thought a BMW boxer I rode up on was a British bike. I told him it stood for Bavarian Motor Works.
He thought BMW stood for British Motor Works. He wouldn't listen, so I calmly pointed to the "Made in Germany" on the case.

+1......interesting reading the thread and responses!

There's so many people reading this board that you're going to get plenty to hammer you, and a few that will feel you. I do love the suit. Does it have an HD logo on it, per chance? That's what I love... HD logos on everything I buy. And I love it when parts on my bike are from China. That is the best.
I think it's funny that some folks wanna know what you like, I guess so they can run it down? You might have hit a few nerves
Just saw this on another thread ... thought it applied here, equally ....
... don't understand why everyone thinks you have a pink suit (or some affinity for pink fuzzy stuff) ... my take is you found a goofy 'haters gonna hate' image on the web and posted it as your avatar ... (I suppose that could actually be a photo of you wearing a pink suit ... care to clue us in ...?)
Got some similar dislikes ... what it boils down to for me is how high is "too high" (apes) ...? how many are "too many" (studs) ...? etc ....
To each his or her own ...
Part of the enjoyment one gets from owning something such as a Harley Davidson motorcycle is that there is a community of owners (whether on an internet forum or in person) with whom you share a commonality ... as humans, we are gratified to receive validation of our tastes and preferences (prefer people like ourselves) ... so, it is no mystery to me your expression of your preferences ....
Good luck replacing your bike ... glad you apparently suffered no serious harm ... welcome to the forum ... hope you've got 'thick skin' ....
