How much further did you have to ride your damaged bike to get home? I would think even though you were fortunate not to get seriously hurt, you must have been pretty sore and stiff for the rest of the ride.

I would hate to think of getting caught up under the van body and rear duals. Could have been much worse for you. You could be just a large greasy spot on the highway if those tires had gotten ahold of you and spat you out to the rear DOT bumper...
