Hello My friends I was wondering if you could give me your oppinion I have a 07 FXDC and a couple of years ago I put on a pc III usb and it used to start instantley but over the last couple of months it seems to be draging it escalated to where U press start and it cranks 4 times and I stop and press again 4 more revs and after pressing a 3rd time and 4 cranks she would fire up I put a new battery 5/1/11 a USG UBVT-1 and so I took it back and got a replacement today and after charging it started after 4 cranks but on first push of starter so is this normal or is there somthing else going on here I only have 12,000 miles on her and I also downloaded the updates for the power commander but when I first put in the new battery she wouldnt start so I had to (charged for half hour ) charge for a couple of hours b/4 she would start ! any oppinion would be greatly appreciated ! Check your battery cables, especially the negative one where it grounds to the bike. You also might have hole in your in tank fuel line. When you turn on the ignition you can hear the pump prime, but if there's not a full tank you can also hear if you have a leak if it sprays the inside of the tank.

I would give it a shot of start fluid, if it fires up right away your issue is fuel, not really up to date on computer controlled engines, but what ever replaces the accelerator pump may be not doing its thing. If it does not fire right up, then you have an ignition issue to deal with.
