Ape hanger poll

Oh yeah. I love apes. 14's, 15's, 16's.... all of them. I have a Springer with a 21 inch wheel so its not like I'm trying to run down the corner carvers. Apes just help me sit up straight and feel more comfortable.

I have 16's with 3" risers, once you get used to the wind change, theyre great. But they do pick up more vibration than the drag bars I'm used to, so keep em a little loose on long rides so you can put em where they need to be. Less stress on the risers that way too

Only my 2 cents, but if you install bars where your hands are above your shoulders you are inviting at least a conversation from Barney Fife. You will also hurt your resale or trade value on your bike, if that is in the future. You could also look at the Heritage Softail Classic bars from HD, Best bars for hieghth I have had for comfort and legal, dont know is they will fit ie, cables etc

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like them and personally don't quite under stand the fad. But then again, I don't like piercings and purple hair either.
