Default Need help purchasing a new jacket on line

Was thinking about purchasing a leather harley jacket off h apparel website. Problem is I'm not sure if I should order a large or a medium. I'm 5-06, 160lbs. I know some of harleys clothing runs big. Anyone have any guidance?

They should have a sizing chart for you to use. Have someone take the required measurements, then order that size. I prefer to go up one size to give me room for extra layers, and so when I'm riding the sleeves and bottom don't ride up.

Being you are 160 lbs I would go with the large. You look better wearing your sweatshirt under your jacket than over it. Be sure not to get a "Long" tho....

Thanks for the info. I just get worried with ordering online. I sometimes get larges that should fit and I have a hoodie that doubles as a short skirt not cool. Any one shop from HApperal before? I know the jackets come straight from china. Don't care the price is right. Harley dealers price their jackets so high.

I'm also the same as you, build-wise. 5'7' 165#. I wear a Medium for all Harley jackets and clothings. Large also fits good as other here said, probably fits better over layers.

My problem with large is all the sleeves are way too long, especially for an outer jacket. Make sense while your arms are up on the handlebar.

Anyway you can go into dealer showroom and try on, see which one works better?

What price range are you looking at?
I don't have any Fox Creek gear, but they ask for measurements for jackets on their site. Plus they are made in the USA.

I also was thinking medium but wasnt sure. I'm looking to spend less than 430$. I really want a Harley jacket. I know I can get a reg riding jacket just as nice and cheaper but I really like Harley. Hey 3/4 life crises what jacket do u have? I'm thinking of a Harley jacket with the hoodie built in. Not sure if that changes the size up. I too don't want sleeves hanging past my hands when standing with my arms down. I'm 5-06 160lbs athletic build. Just don't want it tight while seated on my bike either. Let me know. Thanks.

I bought a Harley Davidson Skull leather jacket from a dealer in Ebay.. Up here in Canada the exact coat was $569.00 at the Harley dealership and picked it up for 342.00 from House of Harley Davidson in Milwaukee, I'm nothing but Happy, Happy, Happy. I just made sure I got the coat from a Ebay dealer that is "New With Tags" and not somebody selling "New Without Tags" in which to me could be a knockoff as far as I'm concerned.
I just went to our local harley dealer and tried on coats to find what I liked and then saved a bunch of money and got it on Ebay. Be wary of shipping costs...some people on ebay sell their product real cheap then SLAM you with humongus shipping charges(thats how they make their money)
Good luck on finding a coat there are some nice ones out there.

5'6 155 lbs. The one Harley jacket I own is a medium. Fits well.
