I have a 98 Fatboy with Fatboy saddlebags. Is there a company that makes a quick disconnect kit that will accomodate these bags? I know there have been posts on this subject before, but I don't remember the company or the circumstances on which this kit will work.
i also have a fatboy.i use easy brackets.they come with all hardware to install.you can,t go wrong.all you,ll change are two fender strut bolts, that come
with the kit.and i also did some refab on them to clear my aft lights.if you need any help, feel free to contact me.good luck
Alien, I looked up the ghost bracket site. Which ones do I need. There are two different ones that would work. I have the fat boy HD saddlebags, they are small I would say.
Beagle1, I received the easy brackets and installed them yesterday. The installation went great, they look good and fit well, but I have a concern where the bracket docks to the docking pins on the bike itself. My bags have about 1/2 inch of play in them. The whole bag and bracket that is attached to the bag will move up and down. Its not a tight rigid fit. Have you had any problem with movement with your installation? Thanks
