I got my front wheel off and have the tire, tube and rim band bought for it. I just need someone to put the crap together and balance the wheel for me then I can put it back on.
I called a few places around the area and this is what I ran into
Southside Harley Va Beach - $86 per wheel
Bayside Harley portsmouth - $50 per wheel
Power Factory Portsmouth - $50 per wheel
Aggressor Cycles Portsmouth - $50 per wheel (would have been $40 but since it's off a Harley it's $10 more for whatever reason)
Precision Motorcycles Va Beach - $30 per wheel
Oceana Cycles Va Beach - won't mount anything unless you bought the tires from them.
Pretty ridiculous I think since I already have the damn wheel off. Looks like Precision Motorcycles is getting my business. Oceana Cycles told me anyone with any integrity wouldn't mount any tires unless the customer bought the tires from them. I told them they were idiots and they were losing money. He told me he wasn't really losing any money since I didn't buy the tire from them. I told him good then he won't miss the $60 worth of business I am going to give Precision to mount both my tires.
A big thumbs up for Precision Motorcycles. I went over there this morning and he had me out in 30 minutes with a freshly mounted tire, tube and balanced wheel.
