I buy from an eBay seller
Fortemotors.
I get the h4 slim kit with 12 k bulbs... A lil more blue than white....
Plug and play...
About 60 bucks for a full HID kit!!!
Had in my roadglide, my night train, explorer and Dakota!!!
Not been happier!

Simple rule. Higher wattage bulbs=shorter bulb life buy alot. I have ran some 100W bulbs in some of my cars with no melting, but they did not last all that long. The bulds that have the stock wattage ratting and are colered will cast less ligth due to the coating. For a ture bright ligth that will last HID is the way to go, but you then have to hide the ballest. useing he slim ballest is alot better. My 07 still has the stock bulb in it at 19100 miles and I can see ok with it. I just use the brights as much as I can and it's fine, but I don't ride at night all that much anymore. If it was not for the ballest hideing issue on a sporty I would step up to HID just for the cool looks if nothing else and plus they will see you better in the daylight.

I have been using the Sylvania Silver Stars in everything. I have them in my ATV's for years and never had one go out. I like them and you can find them at most auto parts store. They make one just for Motorcycles. It's made for all the vibration, maybe those who had them got out just bought the standard H4 buld. It says "For Motorcycle use" on the side of the package. Very Bright bulb.

Never seen one for motorcycles only! That would be cool.
