need bew riding roads in northern illinois
riding season is winding down here in illinois, wester chicago suburbs - la grange to be exact.
i do ride all year thou and like to go out after work, weather and roads permitting
but i feel i have ridden everything in a 100 mile radius
old rt 66 out past joliet and beyond
rt 34 to oswego
down past frankfurt, tinley park
sky way to gary and over into michigan
along the rock river
along the lake shore to milwaukee
morengo, starved rock, lake geneva, mchenry area, hwy 20 to the mississippi
cemetary road with its curved
looking for some interesting rides that one could do in an evening - 2-4 hrs - 50 - 200 miles
got any suggestions?

If you go in the evening this time of year you won't see much. Good day routes heading west are 64 and 30. Come back from Galena on the Stagecoach road. You could head up to Wisconsin and take almost any county road. The Kettle Moraine area outside of Eagle, WI is about the most scenic. A nice stop in Eagle is Knuckleheads.
