who warns? cop radar
Riding to work this morning, on coming truck is flashing his lights....standard cop ahead signal.... I slowed down, passed radar...It saved me. I also flash for "radar". Anyone else??

All the time! ... In France they have boards that look like coppers ... basically they are cutout shapes in uniform arms in front like they are holding a speed gun and they put them by the side of the road and believe me from a distance they look like the real thing but after a while your kinda figure out the real deal from the dummy but it's a close call ....

It was pretty much a speed trap. speed limit was 45... all downhill, at a steep decline. Then around a corner. speed drops to 35. It is not a question of letting up on the throttle... you need to brake hard... around the corner was the cop...every 2 weeks, the wolves, take some sheep
I always warn people..If I remember correctly this issue was just in the news and the guy was fined or something..

Everytime I do it I think of my Sister(a State Police Lieutenant here in my home state) and LAUGH real Loud hard & long!!!!
She's the Black Sheep of the Family....But I LOVE Her To Death.
Yeah dude....GOTTA warn the others of an impending ticket.Thats just plain WRONG to hit a dude(or Gal) in the pocket/wallet while out on the scooter gettin some wind in their faces.
But I never met a cop as sneaky as Us USMC Alumni.....

I ALWAYS warn others of the cops trying to "snag" another rider/driver with the radar or otherwise.
