You better hurry and sell that bike you ride then. If you drive a car or truck you better sell it too. Unless you drive a Toyota Tundra. If you have any small appliances in your home you better get rid of them. If you have any tv's or radios in your home well, you know the drill. The fact of the matter is that you can not have everything that we take for granted on the daily basis if you only buy American Made.

My thoughts on why most everything is outsourced to foreign countries. Many years ago workers got together and started telling employers what they were going to get paid, how many hours they were going to work, what kind of insurance they wanted, so on and so forth. Those groups of people are called unions. When you start telling the boss how things are going to be done then he is going to find someone else to do your job the way he wants it done and for the price he wants to pay. Even if it involves going over seas.

Blame Bush, blame Obama, blame terrorists, blame Christians, blame China, blame Mexicans, blame Whitey, blame Greece, blame the hurricane, blame the earthquake, blame the weather, blame Michael Jackson's doctor, etc...

Where have you been for the last 30 or so years? It is called fair trade agreements because our leaders get bribed to pass them. Others call it a global economy. Companies call it outsourcing.

All presidents and congress have been supporting these one sided treaties for over thirty years. Nafta is probably the only one that most have heard of but there are many.

Every one that gets enacted cost more jobs. It is not the companies fault it is our government that creates the situation.

To the OP, Have you not read tags from your Walmart stuff? Do you not know where your TV was made?

How about the computer that you are using now?

Jeez, pull your head out of the sand and wake up!

Look in the mirror for who is the blame. All of you that keep voting the same candidates back into office and don't have a clue as to what they do are at fault. Every one gripes about where stuff is made. But, what have you done about it?

The choice is simple, if you want American-only then you will need to pay twice as much for everything and earn slave wages in producing them. That suit you better?

What you have now is the best of a bunch of bad choices.

Then why did you buy your bike????? Frames, China, DelPhi system, China Cast wheels, China, Tires, Brazil and I'm sure many other parts as well. Most all aftermarket parts, China and Taiwan, Motor clothes, China, Taiwan. Harley Davidson is American in name only. Also, it's the most temperamental bike to get to run right! They generate to much heat and ping!

when I can I always buy american parts for my bike. if something wears out I try and always replace it with a USA made part if I can . That is one way to support both the aftermarket and american products. it is worth it to me even if I have to pay more.
