As for high boots; not a chance, too damn hot. Well, it’s in the 70’s approx. but forget high boots. Maybe in Jan / Feb when it gets into the mid to high sixty’s and a little cooler here.
Only bought the half boots ‘cuz of the bike. Not even sure I like ‘em, prefer sneakers and shorts.

If you have slip-on type boots (engineer style) try boots that lace up . My official HD boots with a side zip ride right up to the top of the boot , when I wear these (seldom) I have some stirrups I made . Even when wearing my 6-7" hunting boots that lace up my cuffs stay put . Forward controls + slick leather = ride-up !

Wear mine year round here in Texas. If they are ridin above your boots sittin down their probly only down to your ankles standin. Gotta get some and get that frayed look in the back from draggin the ground. Problem solved.
