I was told that it would cut into the passenger area some and I was told that they could not take returns on a custom built seat. The problem is that there is virtually no room for the passenger. My wife is a fairly thin woman but there is no way I can use the backrest at all. I can touch from backrest to backrest with one hand. Worst of all is that the seat is very uncomfortable after 20 minutes. I have a Corbin Hollywood Solo that is more comfortable. So when I send them an email to tell them that the seat is not working at all, I am told the restocking fee is 25%... Wow.. I paid $690 with the forum disount so that makes the restocking fee $172.50 (Ouch). I think this is rediculous. If I would have know that the passenger would have virtually no room then I would have ordered a seat withou the customization. I ordered from them after learning of them on this forum and reading how great they are to work with before and after the sale. Am I wrong in thinking they should have explained that the passenger area is really unusable when they make the adjustment's. Please give me your thought's.
Thanks, Ride safe,
Mike

Just looking at the dimensions of the seat minus 2" form the passenger area & adding a riders backrest would tell me there would only be room for a 5 year old passenger.

Agree with everyone else here, when you go custom returns are out the window. They told you that, then when you didn't like the modification you still tried to return it. They agreed to a 75% return which is more than I would've done.

But you will probably direct them here and get your full return anyway. Does anyone actually believe their word means anything anymore?

You're lucky they're giving you 75%.

If I were getting a customized seat and they told me it would cut into the passenger seat I would have asked for specs (measurements) to see if it would work for me before I ordered the seat. No disrespect but it seems that you didn't ask the right questions. Getting a 75% return on your $$ isn't so bad considering they originally told you it was't refundable. I thought the guys at C&C were great when I ordered my seat. Sorry you have to take a hit on the seat.
