Default chrome fork sliders....

I found some chrome fork sliders on CL for an awesome price. Seller doesn't know a lot about them. I can I be sure they will work on my 01 heritage. I can tell by the pic that they are single disc, but other than that what should I look for?

Till you see them in person just be leary and too much chrome can get on the inside of the legs , makes the bushing almost impossible to go in together and work again .

Look for the HD part number on the sliders.

Buyer beware. Seller doesn't know much about them? I never sold anything that I didn't know the history of to some degree.

He says they came off a 2000 fat boy. But he didn't sound very confident. Also he said there weren't any part #'s on them. Could they be aftermarket? Is there anything I could look at to tell between pre 2000 and 2000 and up?

you can get a set of chrome lowers from ***** shiny for $175 (using your old lowers as exchange). so it would have to be a whole lot less than that to risk all the unknowns that you have facing you on that cl purchase.

You know what they say." If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably isn't."
