First congratulations on your career. You have earned it. Now, the next time the kid calls you a Yuppie or Rub just show him reality and kick his ***. That will make a lasting impression on him.
I think i will take " kick in the *** for 500 bob"

I saw this at delmarva and truly had to do a double take. I was like WTF, are you f@%&in kiddin me. I like the show and all but I'll be damned if I'd fly those colors...
to each his own I guess.
on topic and @ the OP
if you have to ask.... then the answer is yes! I didnt even read your post BUT if youre asking if youre a RUB... you are.
with that being said, I'm pretty sure that you worked hard and earned your position and possessions.
nothin else matters!
you should be proud of what your accomplishments have provided.
dont make other peoples problems yours.
The American Dream. Camelot. RUB. Call it whatever you want.
You pulled yourself up by your own bootstraps, climed the ladder of success and didn't rely on daddys trust fund or the gubment tit. You did it right. I applaud you and am doing my best to do the same.
I got called a yuppy biker by some young kid because of where I live. I grew up a gear head. My first car was a '69 Firebird that I rebuilt myself. I have owned other muscle cars and some cool trucks. When I was young, I rode dirt bikes and then quads. I have been wanting to build a Factory Five Roadster since I was in my 20's, but I could never afford one. When I turned 40 this year I gave up on the Cobra and bought my next most wanted toy, my FXDX. I worked my way up through my career in construction from a general laborer. I now have a good paying management job. I can do just about anything with my hands from welding to wrenching. My wife also makes good money and we live in an upscale neighborhood. It is because of this that he considers me a yuppy biker. I laughed at him. Does appearance dictate a RUB because I have to look neat and dress nice for work?
He's just jealous, ignore his ignorance of life and hard work.

If you are concerned about what a young kid or for that matter anyone "calls" you, I would say you are foolish.
