Hmmm...Well I wouldn't buy from the dealer if I could save significant coin. If it is just $5-10 I would just go to the dealer. Now if you have a Batteries Plus in town. I would check them out. Got my lawnmower batt there and it was the same battery that came on mine except it had their label on it.
Don't have any experience with Wal-Mart. If it is a Chinese-made battery, my experience (Batteries +) is not to buy one. I had one for my Harley strand me one year later and another went kaput six months on my Ducati.
Deka is the manufacturer for Harley batteries. I've had and heard good luck with Harley batteries. Search Deka's website, you may be able to get it shipped to your home much cheaper than the Harley shop.
I replaced the ORIGINAL batteries on all three bikes this summer. (2003 Dyna, 2004 Ultra, and 2006 Sportster.) None of the batteries were bad, but I replaced them as preventative maintenance and I waited until the local dealer had a 20% off weekend. With 20%, off, the price on the HD batteries really ain't that bad IMHO, and they have served me well. Not sure I'd take a chance on a Walmart battery since I have had such good luck with the HD ones.

i would consider a walmart battery only if it were either an emergency and i had no other choice, or if it were a gel (or agm) type battery, and the price was right. if it was a standard lead acid battery, no freakin way (except 'a' above, then i would change it out asap)
