I actually have purchased one thing there and it was good. I got wrapped drag pipes for $120. They were sent in good condition, went on well.
Granted, not much to screw up. After buying the pipes I read the forum about them. I consider myself lucky, and will not take a chance on second purchase.
I have had a similar experience with demons cycles. I bought a set of wheels for a 2012 softail deluxe, they guaranteed me that they'd fit my bike. I paid $900 for the wheels and I thought it was a great deal. I took the wheels to my local bike shop and had $500 worth of tires put on them. I then took them to the local Harley dealership to have the wheels installed just to find out that the rear wheel hub was 1/2 to narrow. So I called demons cycles and they said that they sold thousands of those wheels for 2012 softails and that my Harley mechanic didn't know what he was doing, so he told me to have the mechanic call him. He basically told the mechanic that he was an idiot and told me sorry about my luck. The wheels they sold me were for a 2004 to 2007 softail. I would highly advise everyone to steer clear of demons cycles. I personally will never do any business with them again. I do believe they at crooks and take advantage of people. In all I was out over $2200 on wheels that were wrong
I was pretty close to getting a set of 16" apes for my rk from them with controls on them. http://www.demonscycle.com/handlebar...rols-1687.html. Thanks for the post though. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Costumer service is everything and so far I haven't heard one good thing. If I were you I would definitely send them the link to this thread and let them know how much business you put them out of because they screwed you and if they were willing to make it right you would be sure to post about it.
Old thread I know but was curious, are the handlebars themselves that they have of good quality? I am checking out the El Diablo ape hangers, I have not seen any other company that offers an ape in this exact style...I picked up some Road6customs apes but to me they look silly on my bike since they are so narrow.
