I own several full face helmets.
You need to know a little about helmets before you go buy one.
And if you haven't had one, you probaly need somebody to fit one to yer head.
Then you will have to wear it to break it in.
But the helmets are Modular helmets.
I wear a nolan N103 When its cold outside. The Nolan is hard to break in. But its a good helmet.
Kinda warm for the summer if you live in south texas.
Thanks for all your replies! Yous guys are the best! I have ordered another one in a bigger size, but will try the suggestions for getting it on over my big ole elephant ears!
Thanks so much ya'll
I have the same issue. it will get better over time. Pull the straps apart as much as possible when putting it on. The pads need to be snug.
maybe you can shave some padding from the opening of the helmet to help. I'm going to look at my Scorpion to see if thats possible.
I'm having problem with the "bending my ear all over the place" also. I went thru about 8-9 different helmets at the store til I found one that fit my head comfortably. I've been taking a riding class and we have been putting on and taking off our helmets 8-10 times a day for the last 3 days. The padding is breaking in nicely and the helmet feels better each time I wear it. However, my left ear is killin' me. I need to find a way to get my helmet on without bending the tar our of my ear!

Did you git a helmet too small for yer head.
Different helmets wears different and some work better for certain heads.
And when new they sux to break in.
I'd get a bigger size. My Vega half is a Large but my Vega FF is a XXL. Both fit fine. There is a huge size difference between types and brands of helmets. I might wear anything from M to XXL depending on brand and style. I tried them on in a store before I bought one.
Here is a tip on breaking in a new helmet...Mine was too tight on the cheeks too so i cut a broom handle just long enough to stretch the side of the helmet and let it sit for a couple of days...Issue resolved and has fit perfect ever since...Hope this helps
