Wow! Never meant for this to "devolve" inot an oil or Walmart bashing thread! Just passing on info. for those looking for a good deal on top quality oil. I am not proud of shopping at Walmart...BUT, since my home owners, car, bike, and health insurance have all gone up, along with, gas, food, and damn near everything else, AND I have not had a raise in over 5 years, I have to pinch pennies where I can. I am thankful to have a job, but have to be prepared in case the pink slip arrives...

No more $10 a quart oil. My bike will have to make do with the $5 stuff. I'm pretty sure it will be ok...

ok. if that's the case, then only dickless aholes run you down for not having a flag sticker on your car or not wanting to say the pledge of allegiance too.

conversation over!

Anyway, I don't shop at walmart, I use mobil1 vtwin in my sportster in both places, I change it every 5000 miles, I buy it from Advance Auto Parts, and I put the bike away without changing the oil in the winter if it has less than 2500 miles on it.

I shop at walmart all the time. It's cheaper so that means I spend less money and therefore I have more money to spend on other things. Me not shopping there is not going to change the world, but me paying 2X or 10X more for the same crap in another store could make a difference in my life. So that's my 2 bits.

Regarding oil, I stick to the 8K km (5K mi) schedule as required by the HD warranty, not a km sooner. Use HD Dyno (ripoff) oil. Never park my bike for winter so that's not an issue. Made a deal with Shredding Rubber to try an experiment and use Syn next spring to see if it makes a difference in running temp. I'll post a thread documenting my results when I do. Over and out.

Hey CB...off the meds today?

Let me get this straight...

Shopping at WalMart = Not having a flag sticker on your car
Shopping at WalMart = Not wanting to say the Pledge of Allegance

Uh....Ok

Wait I have one for you:

internal combustion engine = green jello = Hitler

This information is listed on their site.

We do our best to provide you with great values on the Site as well as in our stores. However, sometimes a price online does not match the price in a store. In our effort to be the lowest price provider in your particular geographic region, store pricing will sometimes differ from online prices. Shopping at WalMart = Not wanting to say the Pledge of Allegance
YOu misunderstand me.

Some people like to show their love of the united states by waving flags around, saying the pledge, getting mad when someone objects to the pledge, and putting up patriotic decorations and singing songs.

Some people don't care for that stuff and show their love for the US by not shopping at stores that hurt the economy, drive wages down, and favor cheap foreign made goods over american made goods.

And some people don't think about it at all.

I don't think a person is a "dickless ahole" for voicing an opinion against walmart, or for voicing an opinion complaining about a lack of patriotism. I also don't think you are a "dickless ahole" for shopping at Walmart, though I find them to be detestable and dont' shop there.
