The next few months will be the best deals. Try and get OTD (out the door) pricing that includes all fees and taxes, detailed so you can also see the DRP (Dealer Retail Price).
if you absolutely need an 07, youre probably able to get something $1000 in accessories- a maintenance deal or even $1000 off msrp.
when i bought my 06, i got *NOTHING* for free. the salesman knew that my wife basically did the whole deal as a surprise for me and she wanted to buy me my 'first HD t-shirt'. well, the fugger charged her the $25 for the damn shirt!

It would surprise me if they give better deals in the winter in Florida. The winter time in SW Florida is the perfect riding climate. The temperatures are a bit cooler and it hardly rains at all during the winter.

I bet it is opposite in Florida. I do not think I would like to Ride in 95 degree heat with 95% humidity in the summer. It gets pretty brutal in the summer time in Florida.
Inforit,
You are definitely correct on the heat and humidity down here during the summer. It is a bit less brutal if you live next to the water. We do a lot of traveling in our motorhome (some times running away from hurricanes) during those months and found out that most of the places we go up north are hot and humid, in the summer also. The big difference is, in south Florida, the winters are paradise.

Best thing for you to do is go to a local show. We get the International Motorcycle Show here in Chicago once a year and the deals fly. You can get pretty good deals when there. The new Harley's might be tough to get a great deal on since the new motor and trans change.
I can tell you locally that for Xmas some of the dealers were discounting the 2007's by $2000.00.
Thanks for all the reply's fella's. I am finding this forum very informative with alot of nice individuals. I have decided I am going to try and puchase a new harley in the middle of January and between now and then look at used bikes to see what kind of saving there would be. Maybe I can find one I can not turn down. Can not wait to be part of this Harley family and own a legend!
