When the day arrives that the Moco stuffs the V-rod engine into a RG or UC I'll be one of the first in line for one.
It'll prevent me from buying a BMW K1200LT, and you can bet a huge number of metric riders will be springing for their first Harleys when that day comes.

I agree I think it would be a good marketing move for them.
In my books any current Harley coupled with smooth, cool running 130+ HP on tap would be a dream come true. Like having your cake and eating it too.

This all aounds like piranha v. piranha except when that pesky little japanese koy stroles into the wrong part of the pond. I understand the time of death was 12:01pm 12/04/06. Personally I don't see anything wrong with a Vrod, just wanted to go the traditional Harley route for my first Harley. Guess those guys got caught up in a little Harleymania.

Been riding Harleys since 87. Before that rode some of the "others". Love my Harley. Rode a new demo v-rod night rod special. Man I would like to have one of those! What a fun ride. Only thing I would change would be the handlebars. The pull back bars would be a lot more comfortable on a long ride. Currently have a 2000 Screamin Eagle Road Glide. The V-rod would make a great second bike.
