If I were a judge. I say this, "take the hood off your car. now sit on the engine while someone drives you around, and come back if you *** didn't get blistered."

But I am not a judge, and if the judge doesn't like motorcycles.....What can you do?

No company spends money or redesigns unless they have to. Harley redesigned a few years back..went as far as to include the steps taken in the new vehicle nomenclature. Cottage industries have been formed making things that will keep the heat off your legs. At least one of those guys is a sponsor here. The cat throws off some serious heat. Pipes have been changed. Routing of these pipes have been changed. A system has been designed to kill a cylinder, called "Parade Mode". There have been a great deal of threads right here on this site in the touring section about the heat problem and what to do about it. Yet you guys don't think there could be a problem? No offence to anyone, but maybe research the situation a little? 99% has been posted RIGHT HERE.

"the plaintiffs are relying upon undisputed evidence of Harley marketing larger engines, which are unable to meet emission standards in many states (one of those being California)."

The nanny state and a few hand wringers that want life to be fair and safe are at it like a Pelosi

"On the flip side, those opposed to the idea of H-D facing legal action for simply doing what they’ve always done claim that higher operating temperatures on air-cooled motors are to be expected and fall under the jurisdiction of common sense."

Kinda like walking out of your door in the morning and dealing with life
Still can't figure out how I made it to 59

Quotes taken directly from article

An add;
I've no problem with the heat of any of the dressers, baggers, cruisers and RKC thru out my years or riding Harleys. Must be my fault

I thought I posted to this thread about the same subject or is this a different one? Hummm anyway I guess I'll comment on this one as well.....water cooling a MC engine is not going to keep it from running hot. I've had bikes with little radiators, they run real hot also and if your not careful your going to get burned. Isn't that lawsuit the same as McDonalds getting sued for their coffee being too hot?
