I like your idea Springer, now if we could get admin to approve something like this and maybe put together a planning commitee or something like that. How about it Mac I think it's time to do something like this, the membership is growing leaps and bounds and I sure would like to see/meet/ride with some/all of ya'll in person.
I like the idea of staggering the times of events held. This way if I have the opportunity I could go to NE one, then maybe SE one, etc.
I think the whole thing is a cool idea. Gives people a destination to ride to and get to meet everyone in person. Don't know if it would be a good idea or not but maybe plan a day in conjunction with one of the bigger events....
Let's say Laconia bike week in June. Have HDForum event one day that week in the same "general" area. That way people can make plans and attend both???
I like the idea of sections of the country at different times, good idea Springer. I am from South Western Montana myself Would be a great ride from here for sure. Those that are more hardy or have more time could go to the areas that interest them.
This thing will never fly[:@]
It was brought up by me when I joined the forums a while ago and no one could come up with a good place in the good old u.s. of a. for a meeting place[sm=dontgetit.gif]
I say pick a date and then pick a place, any place and if you can make it fine, if not, then we will think of you when the fun starts
