Can anyone think why we can't try to plan some kind of an event that would give us the chance to get together for say....a rally of sorts? I know we are scattered all over the country, and it may be easier said than done. I noticed that some of the SoCal members were planning a get together. Just wondering.....
Thats a good idea rgerber. Perhaps it would be easier for everyone to meet in regional rallies than in one big one. I am all for a Great Lakes/Midwest rally when everyone else is ready....
I was thinking about this just the other day. Here's an idea, how about dividing the U S into four sections. One line running North and South, right down the middle. One line running East and West, right through the middle and having a rally in each section? Do you think that it would still be too large of an area for most of us to travel, or are there any other ideas. Dependng on where some live, they might be able to go to more than one ralley.
Maybe the admins could run a report to see where the most members are from and weigh that into the mix. Not trying to get them to do more free work! - just an idea
Springer that's a good idea something like that, maybe four smaller regionals spaced out through the year, and one big national somewhere each year. Your right some people could make more than one, I think it would be neat, as it's hard to get just a few together at the regular big rallies, like I tried to do at Myrtle this year.

An other reason that I was thinking about dividing the country into 4 sections was that maybe more people would try to go. For example, maybe some of the people that live in the NW section of the country might not want to ride clear across the country for a rally, say in your part of the country and vice versa. For example, in my section of the country, maybe people would be willing to meet somewhere around Yellowstone, Glacier Park or Flathead Lake in Montana. Those areas in Montana would be pretty close to being in the center of our section and I'm sure that you could do the same thing in your section. What do ya think?
there could also be meets AT existing rallys such as Biketoberfest etc. Im trying to plan a little gathering somewhere in Ormond Beach or Flagler during Biketoberfest.
