Help with rebuild

Well, they left a spacer stuck to the alternator magnets and it jammed things up (obviously that would jam things up). For the inconvenience, the dealer rebuilt the top end at no charge. Wasn't thrilled with the mistake, hoping that they got everything right with the top end. After five weeks on the lift, it was finally back on the road today. All in all, not something I'd like to repeat, but the dealer made good on it.

Good for you..Hope you are able to run up some miles on your ride..

A happy ending for once from a dealer....Nice to hear.
Now break it in and ride it like ya stole it....

LOL! I'm done riding it like I stole it, that's what got me to the point that I had to tear it down in the first place. I've still got some work to do with some mods that I want to complete, but that's not a big deal... put the key in the ignition and it fires, the rest is gravy. What I thought was going to be 2-3 weeks and $350 turned into 5 weeks and $800. I ride all year and this was the first time that the thing sat still for more than a couple of days... Very happy to have it back on the road. Appreciate the assistance and support!
