Got an '06 Road King with an S&S 124 had a 45Mik at first, now a 48...I think the 45 was snappier...any comments/opinions from the other 124's on here?
The 45 is a better carb for your 124" especially if most of your riding is at cruise speed.The few times you run your motor wot is not worth the soggy bottom end from the 48.
Sincere thanks for the reply; I wasn't just dreaming...soggy bottom end is a good discription. Just scored a complete NIB 51CV kit; have one on my 103 and it's perfect; will give it a try on the 124...
