I've owned both. Purchased a 2003 Heritage Softail Classic in 2003, and then a 2005 Road King Classic in 2005. My personal preference was the Road King. Just something about the "King" and that beautiful gigantic chrome front nacelle.........

After carefully comparing the two bikes mentioned, I'd say go with a dyna! They're better and chicks dig em. (how's that for starting a war!)

Good point. I don't dislike the Deluxe at all. Just got the itch to try something new. I was planning on trading her in but you just never can tell . . .

All are nice .....Road King is the most versatile HD on the road. There is a reason they call it KING.

I have had a couple Softails. Nice...but not the KING.
