It's tempting to order one of those jackets from David just to see what it actually looks like. Its also interesting that they say they will send another it doesn't make it through customs which is good because if US customs finds that the product is CF they WILL seize it.

Dear *****

You should be concerned about buying from happarel.com, because everything they sell is counterfeit. Please be aware, especially if you’re buying for resale, that you would be unable legally to resell anything you buy from that web site. The same is true of www.davidjacket.com. Note also that there is NO source in Asia authorized to sell Harley-Davidson-branded products to anyone. If it ships from Asia, it’s counterfeit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Do y'all think everthing made in China is not any good ?
Do you think it gits colder here than in China.
I have a FXRG Harley jacket I bought 6 yrs ago. Its made in China, best jacket I've ever owned since 64.

We don't make much here anymore. And what we do is way overpriced, partly thanks to the Union labor.
Everybody wanting better prices made labor leave this country.

China built factories and said the business will come. Well it did.
China Don't have the Unions, EPA, or Sierra club, or american goverment ruling them.

China builds and makes things to their customers standards.
They alreay know and can show you how much profit is in each way of making things.
Its up to the company that has it made to deceide on which way they want to go.
The company spending the money gits whatever quality they want to pay for.
The labor there is just way cheaper than here.

I think the reason the jackets etc: aren't sent in HD packaging is that the senders know the Customs Agents will grab them.

I have almost the same jacket. My jacket came with armpit zippers and a zipper across the back at the bottom pulled open and close with a draw string in the hand pockets. It also has a made in China tag below the sawn on HD patch. I've worn mine about 50 times since 2008 and it still looks new and smell like leather.

ALL my Harley clothing is made in China. My ICON leather jacket is made in Oregon, USA. What I find funny about all this is that most Harley riders on this forum think that ICON gear is for guys who ride foreign made rice rockets and not for Harley riders with that "made in American" mentality...

Go figure.

Shhh man! Thats supposed to be a secret .
Icon does make an outstanding jacket and you can almost always find a smoking good deal if you look around.
I've owned 3 and each one has always given me that "damn this thing is well made" feeling when I pull it out of the package.
