After talking to my dealer a little while ago I am torn on whether to have the 07 Torque Re-Map done on my Road King. I was told by the service department that since I have a Vance and Hines FuelPak I should not have the re-map done. He said this based on his understanding that the re-map was for the fuel curve only. I mentioned to him that I also heard that there was some timing changes involved in the re-map. He replied that based on his inside information from the MOCO it was fuel only and he thought it would be a waste of my time. Has anyone been able to confirm if there are timing changes involved in the remap? And is this guy just blowing smoke, or is it a waste of time since the FuelPak overides the factory ECU settings anyway?
