I'm sure mine would also do it, if I left it out in the rain or got caught in a down pour on a humid day. Luckily, neither of those scenarios have occurred yet.

Moisture problem a thing of the past

Good news...I heard the MOCO is coming out with their solution sometime this spring. For $599.00 you can buy a tiny windshield wiper made to fit inside the speedo that clears off the moisture just like the one in your car. Installation is tricky though so "Ship in the bottle" experts were recruited and specially trained by HD to wiggle the 'lil Fu!!ers into their tiny space inside. In the fall of 2012 they plan to have the companion defroster unit available but the price has not been set at this time.

Now THAT is an excellent solution! A few grains of rice works wonders in a Salt Shaker . . . so it ought to work for this!

Mine will get cloudy but not much more then that. My old FXR used to get a small pond in it. I could sit on the bike and rock it back and forth and it would slosh around.
