Default Waterproof Jacket

Has anyone had experience with Harley textile waterproof jackets? I am looking at the Illuminator 360 and hoping that it actually is waterproof. I would love to take something out of the saddle bag!

Lots of lookers, no responders.

Not sure if you want to carry in your saddle bag or eliminate having it in your saddle bag. For waterproofness I carry a HD Overpass rain jacket and pants and just put the jacket on over my leather jacket. Always stay completely dry and it packs away in a saddle bag or folds under a net on top of my t-bag. Sorry but I have no experience with the jacket you asked about but my experience with Harley gear is that if it says waterproof, it is.

I have the Authority jacket. Its been through several light-to-medium rainstorms and kept me dry. One storm lasted about two hours.
It has been a great knock-around jacket.

I have the Road Warrior textile jacket, it is at least one grade below the Illuminator 360. Rode thru heavy downpour on the freeway more than once. It's completely waterproof.

After totaling my EG I promised myself I would not ride a bike without a jacket. One with armor, hi-vis, and capable of being warm & water proof. I bought this one and I am very happy with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjR3Dgr5RjA

I bought mine off ebay for $130 new.

I know the FXRG ones are waterproof. But damn heavy, expensive and nice. ..
Doubt you would want to put it in a bag though.
