Default question regarding a FXRG jacket

Guys,
I'm getting an FXRG jacket for my wife, and want to know if it is really waterproof, or if I'd still need to carry her rain gear (jacket) as well...

That's definitely something to consider, very good point. I'll take her to the dealer to try one on.

Thanks,

I'm a woman, and I love my Scorpion Nip Tuck II. It was designed by a woman for a woman. It is a 3-season jacket at best, but it has body armor and the liner is allegedly wind-proof/waterproof. I haven't tried it in the rain (yet), but will say of all the jackets I tried on, it fit the best and felt like "coming home" when I first tried it on. I am difficult to fit also, as I have large shoulders and "girls" but a smaller waist. In business suits I wear a size 8 slacks and 12 or 14 jacket. So please do not limit her options to just HD brand.

Love my FXRG jacket and it is waterproof, but too expensive to use as a rain suit if it can be helped.

Yes, it's waterproof, though water will seep in around the collar.

Hands-down the best jacket I've owned.

She won't notice the weight so much while she is wearing it but if she has to carry it around...

Great jacket. Waterproof? Yes to the jacket, but water still intrudes up the sleeves and down the collar.
