I picked up a brand new FXRG Textile jacket in 2010 for $225 on Ebay from a Harley dealer. I could have got the leather one for under $300. Great jacket but $700 is insane.
I can't believe people buy HD leather and such. I was at the dealer the other day and the feel and thickness of their $400-500 leather jackets felt a lot worse then some of the $100-150 leather jackets I've owned.
Yet I see people wearing it all the time. The one guy who works where I do rides. Admittely, he's pretty loaded. But it's harley davidson everything.
For the love of GOD...... please, I hope no one spends that much money on a Chinese jacket!!!! Buy a quality American jacket. Fox Creek, Schott, Hillside and LegendaryUSA are ALL as good or better than the overseas Harley stuff. Horsehide jackets are an incredible option as well, better than ANY Chinese leather!!!! The only reason the Moco can charge these absurd prices is because people are still paying it. If the cash dried up, the prices would go down. Hopefully riders will stop shoveling money at the Moco and they will finally take notice.
