Upgrade Passing Lights Bulbs
"09 HERITAGE with passing lamps. Changed the bulb in the headlight to Sylvania Bright Star and got bright white light. Wonderful. Now feel the need to brighten up the soft yellow glow in the stock passing lamps to balance the three. Would like to just replace the bulbs but with what? Know nothing about watts, amps, volts, resistance and such, just don't want to do no harm to system. What type of bulbs and where to find them. Any information would be appreciated. Saw something one time any 55w would do but search wouldn't recall. Thanks

I went through the same deal. What worked for me was to take one of the passing bulbs into my local chain auto parts place and matched it up to one a 55w. It hasnt affected the charging system and the extra light is great in deer country.
