Default hillside cycle reviews?

The search function keeps returning a "database error", so I have to ask the question.

What experiences has anyone had with Hillside Motorcycle? I'm thinking about getting the 90hp/90tq kit for my Road King.

Other than speaking with them over the phone I have had no dealings with them. I will say though, based on that phone call, I will be dealing with them before the bike goes back on the road in the spring. I frequent 3 HD based forums and I don't ever recall seeing anything negative about them.

I've had nothing but good dealing with them. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Won't try to sell you anything unnecessary.

When I was rebuilding my engine, I was on the Engine forum all the time. I can tell you Scott is one of the most helpful people I have seen on here. Free with helpful hints, never bashes other builders, just a great sponsor that spends a lot of time on here and shares his knowledge freely. can't ask for more than that

Default Hillside NY

I too researched for a few years. I actually researched for three different bikes I thought of engine work on. I read, called, asked questions about several shops and read a lot more. I finally took my 04 Fat Boy to the Palmer Bros/Hillside. I am laying down a fair amount of cash and after all the research decided this was the place.
I was very surprised after my 5 hour drive to drop the bike off. I had emailed and spoke to Scott off and on for about 18 months maybe.
The first thing he spoke about was the weather and then it was the old family farm near the Erie Canal. On to other topics of antique outboard motors, what we like to eat and where. What I am getting at is this. There was no, lets get your money, get your bike off the trailer and hey this is a busy place so we can't spend a lot of time with you feeling.
Then a casual stroll thru the shop with his brother and another co worker wrenching on bikes. Looked like about 20 bikes from all over the place there for work.
I was there two hours, talked about my motor for 15 minutes, that is all it took as I knew about what I wanted(after all my research) and Scott knew exactly what he needed to do to satisfy my goals.
A very scenic area surrounding the small town of Munnsville as well. Great roads for riding. No doubt there are many great shops to choose from. Sometimes you just get the right vibe for who you want to hand your hard earned cash to though. My motor is obviously not done as I was just there 2 days ago. I can't speak personally about the motor work, but based on everything I have read and learned I think its a safe place to bring your bike.

Scott and Craig are first class people, they have done 2 sets of heads over the years for me . Both of these guys have an amazing amount of passion for what they do on a daily basis. As stated above they are never in a rush to get you out the door and always have time to chew the fat with you. I got the full tour of Scott's fishing boat aswell as some hott tips on reels and rods etc. Some good down home genuine folks that will share info with you at the drop of the hat anytime .
