Hi again. As a newby who is in the process of getting my first HD, I joined up to learn. I am aware that on any forum, one must not bore the established members asking for information on subjects that have already been well addressed. So, as my intended is an "older" bike ('98 FLHTCI) and probably could use a bit of pepping up to keep up with the newer twinkies, I headed over to the technical forum, and surveying the engine/intake/exhaust section, my mouth watered: 1,400 threads! Wow! That will keep me going for a bit, reading all the back mails. There must be someone who has done what I am contemplating!
Imagine my disappointment when I clicked on the link and discovere ......eleven threads!
Am I missing something here? Are they archived somewhere? Or gone forever? If they are shouldn't the mods here put the actual number of available threads up, instead of getting our hopes up?
Dejected in Doha,

You may also find your question answers using two alternate methods: the search bar is pretty good, also you can go to google and put in pretty specific information and simply find the most relevant google searches (most falling in the HD forums). Best of luck.
I find this site to be buggy and to throw some curve *****. Best to stay off the interwebs and ride your motorcycle!

Thanks, Tampa. I wish I could. Work in Doha and live in Cape Town . I don't get home to ride too often, so much of my spare time is spent on research and planning.
Cheers,
