The Conoco refinery in Lake Charles, LA does not even sell ethanol in their gasoline at their truck loading rack. And I have noticed that all the local Conoco stations actually advertise that their fuel is 100% gas. I've also noticed that the local Conoco station's prices are always higher than everywhere else.
This website will direct you to a station in your area that sells non-ethanol gasoline.
thanks for the link. too bad that the closest station is 3 hrs away in Savanna IL. looks like I know where to fill up when I go to poopys for lunch and ride the great river road.
I run Chevron whenever I can. Just "seems" to run better than Shell or Conoco. I definately get more pinging on Shell and for that reason I stay away from it. Chevron just runs better in my bike. Only ethanol gas here, havent seen any non-ethanol gas in years now.
Many years ago the lawmakers here in MI decided it was in the best interest NOT to label gas pumps cause it would unduly concern the citizens of MI. So most pumps in the state aren't labeled, except for the E85 pumps.
