I have found all the HD apparel that I own to be of a superior quality. The stuff is sized both in length and breadth for a rider; the material is very good, it lasts. To me that does speak for value. I tend to get the generic HD logos, not with the dealership logo on them.
Only exception is the run of the mill T-Shirts. They are very inconsistent in quality with some shrinking down a full size quickly and others holding their own for years.
Funniest things I saw was a local businessman drive in to Flats with another businessman for our town. Drove in in a minivan and got out and had leather and a HD shirt. I chuckled to myself. Sort of made my day.
Flats is a great place though. Love Wednesday nights there. Some sharp bikes.
another member in here, Sam Stone, goes down on weds like I do. if ya ever see me, say hey

Oh yeah... I have seen you around Flats and other places. Not sure where all. Just never really approached and said hey. Might have seen ya at BoBikes at UD a few times. Can't remember where.
All a guy has to do to not look like a MoCo poster boy is not have the latest new model bike or a stereo on one . Anything over 5 yrs old anymore makes ya old school with today's crowd .
Hooray for me! So, my 06 Deluxe qualifies me as old school and I can disparage all these Johnny-come-latelies! (Frankly, I can't afford a new one, so it's lucky I like my slightly old one.)(Actually, it still seems new to me.)
But, back on topic: I like my HD boots and I have an FXRG leather jacket I bought for $280 of some guy at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. I think it's good quality for that price but I would not pay the new retail price for it. My wife and my brother each gave me an HD mechanic-style shirt some years back. They're alright. But, otherwise I don't have all the giddy-up gear yet I don't look down at those who do.
As my mom used to say,"You can lead a horse to water but you can't judge a man by his cover unless you've walked a mile in his horseshoes."
The HD gear i have are boots and winter glovers. Not sure if i over paid but the two other pairs of winter gloves i bought sucked and when i'm riding in 34 degrees I hate having my hands freezing [used to hang my hand by my engine to warm them as i road]. Boot i've had for 5years and they are my riding and working boots.

I've done that Went to henderson for super bowl. i rode the bike there then my wife had me go to the store as soon as i got there. I felt like a tool.
