You won't get an argument from me. ANY kind of ice is bad news on a bike.
Besides I'm old enough now to know I'm not unbreakable.

1976. FXE Superglide. Virginia beach. Midnight. Cheap sunglasses. Maybe some mind altering substances. Skidded into a ditch on dark road that turned right all of a sudden with no warning signs. Bike made it out with a dent in the tank and bent handlebars. I already hadnew Angel Wing bars for installation and some fat bob tanks anyway. I almost got it shut down and making the turn when the back tire hit loose dirt and gravel. That was all she wrote. That was another life not to be repeated. Now that I have lived through things like that, I see the light. I never heard of broken wings untill now.

The only criteria for broken wings is you have laid your bike down in an accident, if you earned them you can wear'em were ever you want. Most guys put them at the bottom of their leathers. ( dropp'n your bike in the parking lot doesn't count!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the criteria is hospital time resulting from a bike wreck, not just a lay down that you walk away from....

Their not for a wreck that you walk away from uninjured. Thus the name "Broken Wings"
