I use the stock seat when I'm riding solo on daily rides. I had purchased a Sundowner for my wife because she has a bad back and couldn't ride more than an hour on the stocker. The Sundowner was a huge improvement for both of us.
Then, just last fall, I picked up a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady with one back rest.
I haven't put more than about 30 miles on it, and the wife hasn't even sat on it yet. For those 30 miles I think I'm going to like it better than the Sundowner.
My deuce came with a sundowner. I've done several 200+ days with it so far and had no problems.
WOW ! You actually went 200+ in one day ? You da' man.
I just had to say that. I've seen several references about us old farts on more than one thread by you and it has always seemed disrespectful. You couldn't even go to lunch with most of us old farts if that's your daily limit.
To the OP. Don't know about the Deuce, but I have had two Sundowner seats with one on a FXDX and was very comfortable for me and the wife. Find a dealership with the demo setup and you can test different handlebars and seats.

Well, I've only had this bike since september so my trips to visit friends haven't been too far. I'm doing the Whiskey Trails this summer though and hopefully upstate New York.
But the problem isn't with how many miles I've ridden in one day on the Deuce. Let's just say I'd already be home by the time you made it to lunch and clocked up over 200 miles on a twin you probably couldn't even get your leg over.
Edit: Oh, I should mention I also put over 16,000k on my '03 R6 the year that I bought it.
