I had the Hyperlites on my 95 DWG & have them on my 05 RKC since I saw them at a NY state rally in 1998. Never had a problem with them, hardest part of installation was making a backing plate to stick them on. I also have a BrightAss tailight on RKC now & it's ****.

So do you like the combo of the Hyperlights and the BAL on your RKC? Not too much? This thread got me to thinking about this for my Ultra, and you're the first prson I've seen posting they've done both.
Nope, The light is just a light. The flasher relay cuts into the wiring and will work with any light. I think there is a different relay for LED'S or incandescent. Did you Google it like I suggested?
I did and found what you were talking about, Thanks!
My Road King came with the flasher, i have never seen it, it just works. I added Custom Dynamics LED brake and turn signals in the back. They are very bright! My daughter was following me and thought I was riding the brakes until I hit the brakes. They are that bright.
I highly recommend them for safety if nothing else.
