On a '13 Slim, I switched over to Custom Dynamics LED turn signals all around, plus I added a simple run-brake light bar, and the only "load equalizer" I needed was a small "Can bus adapter" - about $5 extra.
It was just a small resistor heat-shrinked into a short (maybe 4") wire lead with two no-tool, screw-on wire taps already pre-installed. It went between the brake circuit and ground. Took 30 seconds to install.
But I also didn't use any of their controllers, which may be required depending on which ones you buy.
Good company. Tell them what you want to do and they'll make sure you have everything you'll need.
I'm thinking about just attaching my wiring for my led turn signals to my currently internal wired blinker wire and just pulling the new wire through while pulling the old wire out? Anyone done this? Anybody got experience internally wiring led turn signals? I have an '05 super glide, it will not need a load equalizer, I know this much...
I have the Run, Brake, Turn module on my "11" Deluxe. I also installed the LED tombstone tail light and LED turn signals front & rear.
Everything works as advertised. You get the option of more and varied flashing patterns with LED's but the module works with stock lights.
The tail light and turn signals are plug & play, no modification needed.
