I bet Capt Itch could make a bag like the one pictured.
The bracket would be easy to fab up using cut tubing welded to the flat stock.

Zukeeper, we make windshield/fork bags the old fashion way. We can't help you with the brackets, but we do make some nice heavy leather bags.
Please let us know if we can help you.

thank s, but he really likes mine because it is very thick leather and molded so the bag stays round ( but the back is flat of course). it doesn't collaspe at all when empty.
I will point him to your website

I have one of those. Its very old & very very valuable. I couldn't be parted with mine, it came with fringe & rusty tools--but a little mink oil & some elbow grease later, I was able to separate the crusty old tools from the leather & have been using it ever since.

Is it a plastic tube wrapped with leather riveted on?
I mounted a LeatherWorks tool bag on mine.
Thick leather and it holds it's shape empty or full.

I added chrome timing covers to the sides for more bling. Just because I could.
