Thought I never would but I did, over a year ago. I love it at night and it sure gets the bike seen in the dark. Here is a LINK to a thread I started with a video. Joe Florida sells a kit, it is all plug and play with two remotes for about a hunnerd bux, easy install too..

As for those who say it is illegal to run in their state, I can't see how a set of amber lights can be illegal. Hell, I had close to 60 chicken lights on my Kenworth - the air cleaner strips, the step strips, the chrome strips under the bunk, the lights on the headache rack... Really, what's the difference?

And for those who think I'm effeminate for running the LED's, there's a photo of my hot and sexy wife attached...

That's a hell of a good idea and I agree amber should be fine. I've been scared shitless a few times riding at night, dark as hell, no moon in the traffic, when it's raining. Feel very vulnerable. I would have liked to have had more light around me to increase my visibility.

yea, that's an awesome setup. You can't do red or blue when riding but the white or yellow should be okay.

Last time I looked it up in Ca amber accent lighting can not be visible from the rear of the bike and red cant be visible from the front and blue is a no no. I went with blue. Been passed by highway patrol many time at night going down the freeway with no issues.

I can run the light icy looking blue, white, amber, violet, purple, and a few others. There are custom shades that are off the illegal colors and I have never been hassled about them, even when riding with some of my cop friends..lol

Accent lights can be very beneficial at road side maintenance issues in low light conditions.
