with greater tech on our bikes it seems they are less fixable by us (imho). But are dialed in better as well and a bit less problematic. Also I'd have to worry about tools being ripped off well being away. But I'm just an electrical worker.
Personally, I'd dump the fire extinguisher because of its weight & size. 25 years ago I had a bike fire on the road. Since then the only bike fires I've ever seen (1 other) were due to crashes. An extinguisher was the last of their worries.
Myself, in my toolkit I carry one of those EpiPens for allegic reactions to bee stings. I'm not allergic but sometime it might help some other rider out. I have friends who are allergic and ride.
