yeah that's the ticket... (here's a hint read your post to me then take a look at who is being the internet tough guy OK?) careful I heard the forecast calls for sun showers, better put the bike up for a week until there's not a hint of water on the road.

Sorry if I had a new bike, a little residual wetness from a rain storm the previous day isn't keeping me off the bike.

Hey, if the guy doesn't feel comfortable riding in the rain, he shouldn't. End of story. The man doesn't need to be mocked for it. Lucky for him here in SoCal the weather doesn't stay wet for very long. Totally dry today and in the 60s. Good day to ride. Have fun man and I'm sure you'll be back to feeling comfortable in the saddle soon enough.

First of all, it's been raining like a mo fo here, not just light sprinkles.

Second, you have no idea how f'ed up CA drivers are when it rains. Traffic here is f'd up to begin with and you ad in rain and everyone freaks out. I grew up in NH and learned to drive in snow but I am on red alert when driving in LA on rainy days. It's like being in a friggin video game.

Thirdly, how f'ed up is it to advise someone to ride when they are not comfortable with it? Would you say the same if they had been drinking? Come on man, you've only had 4 beers, don't be a *****, ride it!

Or maybe they have bald tires and bad bearings? Come on man, you don't need any tread on your tires, just 'cause the cords are showing doesn't mean you can't ride!

Obviously, you are a bad *** and ride 365 days a year, rain sleet and snow but we all aren't quite as hard core as you are. It only rains a few days a year here so when it doesn't we don't really need to ride.
