Just curious as to who has experience and advice about passengers.
I mean people who have really done it, not just down to Dunkin' donuts with their girl. What advice would you give to someone who doesn't have experience.- ??
Most of the girls I know ride their own bike. But you never know-- it might be nice to have a back warmer with T*Ts.
My wife an I have been riding two up for nearly 40 years now. To me the main things are: Feet up ALL the time and lean the same as you. Oh yeah, no whining.
Don't get on or off the bike before I tell you to. Nothing worse than having someone jump on the passenger footpeg before you are ready and the whole bike goes flopping on its side.
The second thing is just sit there. Don't try to lean into a turn or be helpful. Just sit there, look pretty and enjoy the ride. Oh, and a little reach around doesn't hurt either!
One last thing: if you want to point something out to me you have to tap me on the shoulder on the side you want to to look. Don't just point and say, "Hey, look at that" because I'll have no idea what you're looking at!

Just tell them that slow speed is harder to handle, most gal's when you pull up to a stop sign they think it's time to fix their hair, or adjust whatever. I tell them when I'm going down the highway if they want to stand on the seat and do a jig go ahead, but when I'm pulling up to a stop sign sit their a$$ still.
HAHAHA the reach around is a no-brainer and thanks for the other advice. does it change the way you handle corners because of balance ? I think I would be way more worried about sandy or slick corners with the extra weight.
I told my girl to put the back rest in the center of her back and keep it there, no matter what I do. With her weight blended into the bike's, I don't even hardly notice it. When someone starts trying to lean with me is when I get nervous. Their timing and level of commitment to the movement effects the stability more in my opinion. If they stay with the bike, it's never an issue.

But is that a blonde thing ?
