I understand what you are saying but seems like a relatively minor issue since no one got hurt.
Never invite the man in to your life and sure as hell don't create an issue over something that is not likely to really change the world. I could see if they dragged you off your truck pistol whipped you, had illegal buttseks with you and called you names but why in God's name would you start a hassle with the man over something like this?
I'll say it one more time never invite the man in to your life.
All police should move over for someone on the shoulder, thats what a true professional would do - law or not. Actually they should have stopped to make sure everything was OK.
My 80 yr old dad got about a $200 ticket for not moving over for a sheriff. They enforce the law when its about them to generate $$$.
Can't say I would have given them my phone number. I sure wouldn't expect hearing from them, they have already proven their attitude towards the public they are sworn to serve and protect.
Somebody get out the manpons....the PMS level seems high in here this week.
Only in America, is the level of whining this petty. Go complain to a cop in any middle eastern country about something you think they did wrong. They'll shoot you in the face.
Here in Nevada they recently passed a law requiring you to move over one lane when passing a police or highway patrol when they have someone pulled over. It is a ticketable offense. Common courtesy and safety dictates moving over anyways if you are not going to stop to help.

I agree 100% I see cops do shady stuff on the roads all the time, but as long as they do not hit me or pull me over then so be it-they can do what they do.
I was talking to a friend who is a LEO here about this the other day. He pointed out that a lot of traffic laws (speed limits, texting and driving, etc..) actually have an exemption for law enforcement. So in his words, "legally they're not doing anything wrong, but morally, they suck". I figure those are the most appropriate words for that.
