Was wondering what OEM parts that are brand new off my bike will sell for. I have the seat, air filter kit, and pipes for it. Not looking to gouge anyone on them just curious what I should list them for. I looked them up, but there new price is unreal from the dealer.
take off parts don't sell for a lot.. there is always a market for them though.. i put a pile of parts on craigslist, let folks stop over and pick what they want and make an offer.
I'm surprised anyone would want that kind of stuff, pipes are the first thing everybody changes, usually followed by the air filter, when I sold my last Harley I gave all the original parts to the new owner.

I never sell OEM parts (if I sell/trade, they go back on), but I have bought plenty - I just bought a set of brand new, dealer take-off pipes from a 2003 softail for $150, the set before that, for a Sportster, were more used for $75. Handlebars - bought 2 HD bars: Night Train - $40, with risers; Softail Custom - $100 with risers. Seats and air filters also not going too high. Those are the top items to take off a Harley and replace with after-market, so there are plenty for sale and not may people buying. I wouldn't pay $25 for a HD seat (and I've passed them up at that price). I have a HD air cleaner And carb I bought together for about $20, just so I could use it to learn about carbs.
It seems to me that used parts have the same value as chrome parts, once you buy them. Once installed, they are worth about 75% less then what you paid for them.,,
